Delivery

AquaRest delivers anywhere within the U.S. 48 contiguous states only, where surface delivery is permitted. Unfortunately we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

A daytime phone number is required in order for the freight company to call you for delivery arrangements.

A physical address is required. We cannot ship spas to PO Boxes or APO. Due to high ticket value, if paying by credit card, the specified delivery address must match your credit card billing address for your protection and ours.

Due to size, these items must be shipped via truck. You should have help on hand to assist you. The driver is responsible for unloading curbside or driveway delivery. It is your responsibility to position and install the unit into your yard or home.

Most residential addresses are accessible, but locations which are not accessible by tractor-trailer-or-which require extra handling may be subject to additional charges. Examples include: narrow lanes, alleys or bridges, islands or locations requiring ferry boat transportation, toll-bridges, gated communities restricting trucks, unpaved roads, and remote rural locations. If in doubt, call us and we will check with the delivery company prior to proceeding to quote any extra delivery charges. We will obtain your approval for additional charges, if any. We reserve the right to decline orders for which we determine that delivery is impractical.

You or a person you designate must be on hand to inspect and sign for truck deliveries. Carefully inspect the carton and packaging, and note any damage, no matter how slight, on the freight receipt prior to signing. Missed delivery appointments may result in redelivery charges to you.

Damage is very unlikely, but if the merchandise itself appears damaged, note it on delivery receipt and call immediately for assistance. If you or your designee sign for and accept the delivery without noting damage, you are indicating that the shipment arrived in good condition, and no claims can be made. Customer Service: 1-888-768-6772

Pre-Delivery Preparation

Your spa delivery will arrive CURBSIDE at the specified delivery address you provided at the time of your purchase. You will need to make prior arrangements for assistance in moving your spa into your desired spa location.
If your spa location will be more than 10 feet from an existing electrical outlet that is ready and dedicated for spa use, you may also need to hire a professional electrician to establish those electrical connections. Most cities and counties require permits for exterior construction and electrical circuits.

Be aware of your local codes and laws. Some areas have codes requiring barriers such as fencing and/or self-closing gates on property to prevent unsupervised access to the property by children. Your local code enforcement department can provide information on which permits may be required and how to obtain them before delivery of your spa.

Owners Manual – All models excluding DayDream

  1. Electrical Connection
Installing your new Dream Maker Spa couldn’t be simpler. After filling your spa, just plug it in to any standard 120v / 15 amp outlet for power. Do not use an extension cord. If you prefer, our models can be hardwired by a certified electrician.
To avoid nuisance circuit breaker tripping, it is best to use an outlet on a circuit which does not supply power to any other major running appliance. This can be checked by turning off the circuit breaker that supplies the intended outlet and verifying that no other electrical devices no longer work, such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc.
  2. No Overhead Power Lines
Do not locate your spa under overhead power lines or in proximity to existing buried or exposed electrical circuits.
  3. Childproof Your Spa
Plan for limiting access to children. Precautions such as self-closing and locking gates or access doors, fencing and other child barriers, as dictated by the site.
  4. UL Safety Cover Required
In addition to its insulating factors, a good cover also provides a measure of additional protection from unwanted access. Your AquaRest cover is classified by the Underwriters Laboratories meeting ASTM F1346-91 requirements.

Provide a solid load-bearing site: CAUTION: Your spa must be installed on a level, flat, solid load-bearing surface. Do not locate the spa on a surface that can be damaged or altered by water. The site must provide a solid foundation with a minimum load bearing capacity of 117 pounds per square foot (572 kgs per square meter).

Concrete slabs and decks must be designed to support this weight. Do not select a site composed of individual unsupported bricks, blocks, grass or other materials which will shift unevenly and cause damage to your spa’s internal frame.

Provide a level, flat site: A level site is critical to both the performance and enjoyment of your spa. A flat and level site provides the surface necessary to properly dispense weight between the footwell (which bears most of the spa’s weight) and the structural frame (which primarily provides stabilization and secondary support).

Electrical Requirements

120v / 15amp

Locate your spa so that the GFCI plug and cord will reach a dedicated 120V outlet, but not closer than 5 feet (1.5 meters). A dedicated outlet is one that does not have other electrical devices operating on the same circuit. This can be checked by turning off the circuit breaker that supplies the intended outlet and verifying that no other electrical devices no longer work, such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc.

Do not use an extension cord.
Do not connect to the outlet until the spa is filled with water.

240v

Note the deluxe upgrade package consists of a Factory Installed:120/240V, 1 kw/4kw heater, 2 speed pump and an ozone generator. The heater can be converted from a 120-Volt 1kW to 240-Volt 4kW with the installation of a 30 or 50 Amp 240-Volt electrical service, by a certified electrician.

240V electrical connections must be completed by a Certified Licensed Electrician. A GFCI AND A DISCONNECT SWITCH ARE REQUIRED. The National Electrical Code requires that spas connected to 240V circuits be equipped with a GFCI and Disconnect Switch. See National Electrical Code Articles 680-12 and 680-42.
ISOLATED, DEDICATED 240V, 30 OR 50 AMP CIRCUITS ARE REQUIRED. • All 240V operations wiring must be permanently hardwired, installed in grounded conduit and installed in compliance with the National Electrical Code and all local codes. •
